Terms
These terms apply when you use Rinlo, the meeting notes app for Mac, Windows, iPhone, Android and the web. By creating an account you agree to them. Questions: hello@getrinlo.com.
Your account
You sign in with Google or Microsoft and are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
Recording other people
Rinlo transcribes the audio of meetings you choose to take notes in. You are responsible for telling the people in a meeting and getting their consent where the law requires it.
Your content
Your transcripts and notes belong to you. We store and process them only to run Rinlo for you, as described in the privacy policy. Audio is never stored. On the Free plan notes are deleted after 30 days; on Pro they are kept until you delete them.
Plans and payment
Rinlo is free for 90 minutes of recording a month. Pro is $9.99 a month or $89.99 a year for 20 hours a month, and extra hours can be added to a month: 5 hours for $2.99 or 10 hours for $4.99. Team gives everyone in a workspace Pro for $9.99 per member a month or $89.99 per member a year; the number of members is billed, and adding or removing someone changes the charge from that day. Unused hours don't carry over to the next month. Prices are shown before you pay, and tax is added where it applies. See pricing.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Pro renews automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing; Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for, then your account goes back to Free and keeps the notes you already have. Refunds are covered by the refund policy.
Acceptable use
Don't use Rinlo to break the law, to record people without the consent the law requires, to attack or overload the service, or to resell it. We may suspend accounts that do.
Changes and availability
We work to keep Rinlo running but can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes; AI notes can be wrong, so check anything important. We may change these terms and will tell you about significant changes before they apply. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
Liability
Rinlo is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited.
